Wholesalers

Wholesalers play a vital role in providing installers with information and the right products to install. While many in the supply chain operate legitimately, some distributors and wholesalers have been involved in the practice of reselling cable products that fail to meet the UK’s safety standards.

We believe Trade Associations have a role to perform with and for their members to help manage better the sub-standard cable problem and the ACI is already working closer with Electrical Distributors Association to enhance their role. We aim is to make distributor site checks common place and to carry out further market sampling.
